I’m Mohammed Mhedin Abdullah,

a Kurdish activist from Kurdistan, Iraq. Back home, I was targeted by the PMF militia after I stood up against their illegal occupation of our land. When they tried to take over our property, I refused to remain silent. I organised a protest in my village, which was met with brutal violence. People were killed, my father was beaten, and I knew I could be next. My family had no choice but to sell everything we owned to help me escape. Since arriving in the UK, I’ve continued to speak out against the injustice and corruption of the Kurdish and Iraqi authorities. I’ve protested publicly, raised my voice through social media, and joined others in demanding justice for journalists, teachers, and everyday people who are being silenced and oppressed. This journey hasn’t been easy, but I refuse to be quiet while my people suffer.

This site exposes the truth about what’s happening in Kurdistan – the corruption, repression, and silencing of those who dare to speak out. It’s a platform for resistance, solidarity, and awareness. My goal is to show the world what the Kurdish people are going through and why we need international attention and action.

You can help by sharing this site, attending protests, amplifying Kurdish voices, and putting pressure on governments and human rights organizations to act. If you're in the UK, join us on the streets. If you're elsewhere, use your platform to raise awareness.

Since arriving in the UK, I’ve actively participated in demonstrations across cities like Birmingham, London, Manchester, and Cardiff. I’ve protested against political repression, the killing of journalists, the abuse of women, teacher hunger strikes, the expansion of militias, and much more. I’ve also submitted petitions to the UN, British Parliament, and Iraqi authorities demanding justice and accountability.

By speaking out, we risk harassment, surveillance, threats to our families back home, and even deportation. Many activists have been targeted or silenced. Remaining silent might be safer, but I believe silence is betrayal.

Explore this site – read the protest posts, look at the posters and gallery, and follow the sources and links. Everything here is documented. You can also contact me directly or follow our campaigns on social media for updates.

The people of Kurdistan are living under a system of repression and corruption. The ruling parties – the KDP and PUK – have turned our region into a land of fear and silence. Journalists are killed, protesters are arrested, women are murdered without justice, and public resources are stolen. Militias roam free while those who speak out are punished. This is the reality we are resisting.
